Learning Time

So I’ve been working on learning time folders for munchkin and the girl I babysit I set up some file folders for matching ABC’s, animals, numbers, and colors. I used free printables off the web. At first I started out with just packing tape to use as laminate and I’m sure glad I did! I went to Walmart to see the price and holy cows( it’s due to living in Colorado too) they wanted 15 bucks for the large pack. My eyes almost popped out my head.

So budget savvy like I am I stuck with the tape. And used one of my old cosmos prof member cards to smooth out any wrinkles. On a side note it’s not the prettiest, I’ll admit but it works. It’s good enough for who it is for right? And that is what matters that it serves it’s purpose and the kiddos love them ( score!).

I also made worksheet notebooks using three ring binders and sheet protectors so they can use dry erase markers and reuse the worksheets. I am still working on some other things as well like flash cards which I’ll post later.

How To:

Pretty simple print out printables- 2 copies- for 1st copy cut and then glue into folders. Then use tape to seal each one. Then I semi cut out the 2nd copy and seal with tape like you were laminating. I used envelopes glued to folders to store pieces.

So my supplies:

Scissors
Glue
Packing tape
Large folders
Three ring binders
Sheet protectors
Envelopes

Pretty much everything I had lying around in my office area I used. Raid your house for things to use totally save some money that way.

Here’s what I’ve completed:
